Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all participants at the event. Your online registration and/or attendance at the event indicates your agreement to these terms and conditions:
1Each participant shall possess one ticket for admission. Children aged below 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or above) who possesses a valid admission ticket.
2Members of the public who wish to attend the Open Day must register online in advance. Each applicant may request a maximum of three admission tickets free of charge. The admission ticket registration system will accept applications from 14 August to 24 August 2026 via the CAD website.
3All activities of the CAD 80th Anniversary Open Day will mainly be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free of charge. The admission ticket (QR code) shall not be copied, resold, or used for commercial purposes.
4Participants must present a valid admission ticket (QR code) for admission, and present a valid admission ticket at any time upon the request by event staff.
5Each admission ticket (QR code) is only valid for one person and can only be used once.
6Each adult may accompany a maximum of 2 children under 12 years old. Participants should take ownership over their personal safety and take care of accompanying children (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult), and follow the instructions of event staff.
7For any participant of 12 to 17 years old, his/her parent/guardian’s consent is required for participation in the CAD 80th Anniversary Open Day. Please provide the email address of the parent/guardian when registering online. The CAD will notify the parent/guardian upon successful application. In case the CAD fails to notify the parent/guardian using the email address provided, the application will not be accepted. By participating in the event, any participant of 12 to 17 years old undertakes that he/she has obtained such consent.
8For each session, only one application per participant is allowed. Duplicated applications will be disqualified.
9Admission tickets are limited. In the event of oversubscription, selection will be made by computer balloting. Successful applicants will receive an email notification containing an admission QR code on or before 4 September 2026.
10Visitor parking space is not available in the CAD Headquarters.
11Water dispensers are conveniently located at the activity venue. Visitors who need water are recommended to bring their own containers.
12Please note that the simulation experience activities may be delayed or cancelled due to technical issues.
13The CAD will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any negligence or wrongful act of a participant.
14Any persons who disrupt the event or their activities will be evicted.
15No promotional materials, souvenirs or give-away items can be distributed in the venue without prior permission from the event staff.
16Smoking is prohibited in the CAD Headquarters.
17Pet is not allowed in the CAD Headquarters.
18The personal data collected by the CAD for online registration are only used for the processing of application and communication purposes, and will be destroyed at appropriate time after the event.
19Our staff members will take photographs and videos during the activity. The photos and videos will be used for both educational and promotional purposes, and the ownership of such photos and videos belong to the CAD.
20Participants are required to wear proper attire. The CAD reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate.
21The CAD reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
22In case of any dispute, the decision of the CAD shall be final.
